Moira is a Health and Safety professional with over 12 years' experience across public and private sectors, working in complex environments.

Moira has particular experience in systems based approaches to health and safety including policy, training, risk management, pre-audit assessments, and stakeholder engagement. She takes a strategic view to develop or improve systems, policies, and partcipation practices, engaging with leaders at all levels. In particular, Moira appreciates workers understand everyday work best and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve better outcomes and lift understanding of H&S at all levels.

Moira draws on her background in quality assurance, HR and working in a variety of industries and organisations to work collaboratively and foster positive change.

She is a registered Health and Safety Practitioner with NZISM, holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate in OHS, a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Business and Administration, a Bachelor of Science and a Certificate in Quality Assurance.

Moira is based in Upper Hutt and outside work enjoys time with people, in nature, walking, and as a community volunteer. She has a keen interest in restoration of things, people, place and practices.
